Hang on, we have your first look at Reach, an upcoming climbing thriller starring Ryan Phillippe (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Wish Upon) in which the star must make a truly awful decision.
Reach follows best friends and fearless climbers Zack and Chris, who find themselves dangling perilously off a mountain edge, leaving them connected only by a rope. Zack confronts a life-or-death decision: should he cut the rope to save himself, or do they both fall to their death?
From writer/director Mukunda Michael Dewil (Vehicle 19, Prey, The Immaculate Room), the film has now wrapped production in Thailand and is heading to the European Film Market, reports Variety.
It is produced by Kaos Entertainment and financed by Christian Mercuri’s company Capstone. Sales agent Capture — a joint venture between Capstone Global and Signature Entertainment that launched in 2025 — is selling the film globally. Watch for U.S. distro news as it comes in.
