Sam Raimi’s thriller Send Help is just a week away, and it’s shaping up to be a cathartic ride.
Rachel McAdams stars as an employee pushed too far who finally flips the script on her boss, played by Dylan O’Brien. Both trapped on an island, she makes him pay. It looks like a blast.
We have two fresh clips that take place earlier in the film, where the game of cat and mouse hasn’t quite begun, but you can feel the tension building.
In the first, the duo enjoys a pig that McAdams’s character caught and killed. “Little ol’ me was bringing home the bacon,” she jokes, before they laugh together. The other has O’Brien talking a big game while McAdams demasculates him. It’s great.
The film is rated “R” for “strong/bloody violence and language.”
