Exclusive Clip for Sci-Fi Horror Comedy ‘Weekend at the End of the World’

EXCLUSIVE: Dread Central has a new clip from Weekend at the End of the World, a genre-blending sci-fi horror comedy directed by Gille Klabin (The Wave).

The film pairs apocalyptic stakes with offbeat humor, setting up a chaotic and surreal end-of-the-world scenario.

The story follows best friends Karl and Miles, who find themselves on the verge of striking it rich—just as civilization begins to collapse. Their attempt to capitalize on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity quickly spirals into something far stranger, as the looming apocalypse introduces bizarre and unpredictable threats.

The film stars Clay Elliott, Cameron Fife, Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars), and Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!, Puppet Master), alongside supporting performances from Adam Ray (The Heat) and Sujata Day (Insecure).

Weekend at the End of the World premiered at Grimmfest last year, where it drew attention for its unusual tone and energetic mix of horror, comedy, and science fiction elements.

Behind the scenes, the screenplay was written by Clay Elliott, Gille Klabin, and Spencer McCurnin. Producers include Cameron Fife, Beau Johnson, Gille Klabin, and Clay Elliott. Cinematography is by Aaron Grasso, with editing by Lana Wolverton.

Weekend at the End of the World is now available to rent and own.
