Gory Trailer for ‘Hellraiser: Revival’ Delivers So Much Suffering [Gameplay]

Hellraiser: Revival

The Genesis Configuration is calling to you in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, with the latest trailer teasing the brutal power of the infamous puzzle box both in and out of combat.

“The puzzle box will not ask your desires… Only unravel the boundaries. True transformation requires suffering,” the trailer warns. “Your curiosity ignites, but flames that illuminate may also burn…”

A mighty tool for both combat and puzzles in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the Genesis Configuration allows players to transform parts of the Labyrinth outside of combat to open paths forward. Manipulating the box will also be invaluable for solving puzzles in the world of mortals.

But the full power of the Genesis Configuration comes alive in combat. Players can banish enemies with gruesome executions to gather their Suffering and unleash a variety of abilities with the Genesis Configuration.

Telekinesis allows players to launch saw blades, rail spikes and more at enemies to maim and dismember them, while Pyrokinesis absorbs incandescent fire to burn away foes and the environment. Players can also summon the iconic Hell Chains to tear opponents apart without mercy.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival continues to embrace the franchise’s signature blend of pain, transformation and splatter-soaked carnage.

Hellraiser: Revival unleashes the Cenobites on Playstation 5, the Xbox Series and PC via Steam later this year.
