Halloween: The Game will receive physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when it launches on October 6, 2026, Dread learned today.
Developed and published by IllFonic, co-published with Gun Interactive alongside Compass International Pictures and Further Front, the asymmetrical stealth horror game will be available in two physical editions through Nighthawk Interactive, with pre-orders beginning today.
- Standard Edition ($39.99 MSRP) includes the game, an exclusive poster, and early access to the Michael Myers Clown skin plus two civilian cosmetics.
- Limited Collector’s Edition ($149.99 MSRP) includes the game, an exclusive Trick or Treat Studios Shape Jump variant action figure, lenticular artwork, an exclusive poster, early access to the Michael Myers Samhain and Clown skins, four civilian cosmetics, and additional collectibles to be revealed later.

Players can relive the events of John Carpenter‘s Halloween (1978) as either civilians attempting to protect Haddonfield in 1v4 multiplayer or step into the role of Michael Myers in both multiplayer and a single-player story mode.
Alongside the physical edition announcement, IllFonic unveiled Orange Grove Estates, a new multiplayer map inspired by the original film. The affluent Haddonfield neighborhood features multi-story homes, expansive yards, playgrounds, and basketball courts, creating new opportunities for stealth, teamwork, and pursuit. Watch the footage below.
“We are excited for fans of the original film to see the iconic Wallace and Doyle houses in this new map,” said Malek Akkad, President of Compass International Pictures. “Gamers will get to explore the legendary homes and create their own survival tactics. Will they weave through picturesque yards, bushes, and playground equipment as they fight to outsmart the Boogeyman or will they become the Boogeyman.”
“Every neighborhood in Halloween: The Game is designed to change how you play, and Orange Grove Estates is our most ambitious map yet,” added Jared Gerritzen, Chief Creative Officer at IllFonic. “The open layout and multi-story homes force players to rethink their every action as it could compromise their line of sight, collaboration, and escape, whether they are playing as a Civilian or Myers.”
Halloween: The Game launches physically on October 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with the Standard Edition priced at $39.99 and the Limited Collector’s Edition at $149.99.
