What I'm specifically jazzed about is the fact that we're getting a lot of the modern horror tropes and scares we're so accustomed to with THE CONJURING and ANNABELLE, and other films like INSIDIOUS and SINISTER -- but with a period piece flair to it, something along the lines of gothic horror with an ambient mood element.

And in all its basic-ness, you'd be shocked to realize that it's not just a linear-type film with one main idea. There are actually a ton of deep meanings behind all of the frames, the shots, the sequences, the scenes. With obviously the underlying principle, the whole point of it: meaningless sex is bad!
