This past Friday night, Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl made their return with the second season premiere of Shudder’s “The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs,” which featured 1986’s Chopping Mall and 1976’s Bloodsucking Freaks. Pro wrestling legend Chris Jericho joined Joe Bob for the latter film, an exploitation oddity that he’s got endless love for.
So much love, in fact, that Jericho (who’s also the lead singer of metal band Fozzy) debuted a brand new music video tribute to the film during the show, titled “Bloodsucking Freak”!
The video features lead vocals by Chris Jericho and guitar solos by Levi White, and it was written & produced by John Brennan. And yes, Joe Bob and Darcy both appear in the video.
Believe it or not, The Last Drive-In “Bloodsucking Freak” Soundtrack EP is now available from Ship To Shore PhonoCo. on limited-edition 7” brain-matter-splatter vinyl!
