Colorful New Shot from IFC’s Russian Creature Feature ‘Sputnik’

One of the genre films that was set to world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this month was Egor Abramenko‘s sci-fi monster movie Sputnik, which IFC Midnight will release in limited theaters and on VOD in North America on August 14.

We now have an intense and colorful new shot from the film to go along with the  previously released subtitled trailer for the Russian film that looks directly inspired by Ridley Scott’s Alien, only if the Xenomorph made its way back to Earth.

In the film…

“The lone survivor of an enigmatic spaceship incident hasn’t returned back home alone—hiding inside his body is a dangerous creature. His only hope: a doctor who’s ready to do whatever it takes to save her patient.”
