Nicolas Cage is Ready to Slay Killer Animatronics on This ‘Willy’s Wonderland’ Sales Art

Formerly titled Wally’s Wonderland, Nicolas Cage will be battling evil animatronics in the upcoming horror film Willy’s Wonderland, and we’ve got a look at the Cannes sales art today.

We’ve also got the official plot synopsis today, which teases: “This action-packed, nail-biting, and terrifying tale will take you on the ride of your life.” Here’s the full synopsis:

“The Janitor (Cage) finds himself stranded in a remote town. Unable to pay the repair shop to fix his Jeep, he agrees to work off his debt by spending the night cleaning Willy’s Wonderland, an abandoned theme park full of animatronic characters that were once a beacon of fun for children to play with.

“But Willy’s Wonderland carries a dark secret that The Janitor is about to discover. He’s been lured into a deadly trap, or rather, a living nightmare, as the Wonderland’s animatronic characters come to life to destroy him. The Janitor is forced to fight his way from one monster to another, trying to survive until morning.

“And The Janitor doesn’t play nice.”

“Party of Five” star Emily Tosta plays the rebellious teenage lead in the movie from director Kevin Lewis (The Drop), which also stars Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men), Ric Reitz (The Resident) and Chris Warner (Machete). The screenplay was written by G.O. Parsons.

Thanks to Cris Parker for the scoop.

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
