If last year’s 47 Meters Down: Uncaged was “The Descent with sharks” then this year’s Black Water: Abyss is definitely “The Descent with crocodiles.” The trailer has just been unleashed.

In Black Water: Abyss, “A group of friends explore a remote cave system deep in the forests of Northern Australia when a tropical storm hits. As rising floodwaters trap them deep below the surface, something even deadlier emerges from the darkness – killer crocodiles.”
Screen Media will release Black Water: Abyss, a sequel to 2007’s Black Water from the same filmmaking team, in limited theaters and on VOD platforms August 7, 2020.
Directed by Andrew Traucki (Black Water, The Reef), the new film stars Jessica McNamee, Luke Mitchell, Amali Golden, Anthony J. Sharpe, and Benjamin Hoetjes.
