It’s been a long time coming, but Game Kitchen and Team17 have finally announced “The Stir of Dawn”, a free DLC update for Blasphemous. The update will launch August 4 across all consoles and PC, and includes a number of new features to the game.

Among the various balancing tweaks to enemies and Prayers, the game will now have the following: A New Game+ mode, a new, optional ‘Three Penitence’ system, new storylines, NPCs, bosses, enemies, and areas, new Executions & Counter attack mechanics, a revamped map system with more fast travel locations, and new items, animations and level art reworks. The game will also feature updated voice acting, including a full Spanish language option.

Blasphemous is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
