Upcoming Shark Attack Movie ‘From the Depths’ Takes a Psychological Thriller Approach [Trailer]

Just when you thought it was safe… to stay home.

Swimming our way later this year via ITN Distribution and director Jose Montesinos is From the Depths, though this one doesn’t quite look like other shark attack horror movies.

The film takes place *after* a shark attack, centered on a woman who’s being psychologically tortured by the horrifying event. “After surviving a shark attack a young woman is plagued by nightmares of being stalked in the dark sea by a ravenous predator, and hallucinations of visits from her sister and boyfriend, both who were killed in the attack.”

“Imagine if the producers of Sharknado hired David Lynch to make a shark thriller in 7 days with 30k,” the film’s official Twitter account describes the basic premise of the movie.
