Wes Craven’s ‘Vampire in Brooklyn’ Taking a Bite Out of Blu-ray for the First Time in September

In 1995, Wes Craven joined forces with Eddie Murphy for the horror-comedy Vampire in Brooklyn, and the film is finally getting a Blu-ray release here in the States this September.

Via Broke Horror Fan, Paramount will release the Blu-ray September 15.

“A ship sails into Brooklyn with all its crew dead. But something gets off and the killing continues on land. The vampire is looking for a specific woman – half-human, half-vampire. Rita’s the cop detective investigating the many killings.”

Murphy, who helped come up with the story, stars alongside Angela Bassett, Allen Payne, Kadeem Hardison, Joanna Cassidy, Zakes Mokae and the late John Witherspoon.
