“Supernatural” Will Return to The CW for Final Seven Episodes in October

The fifteenth and final season of The CW’s “Supernatural” went on a forced hiatus this past March, the result of coronavirus-related shutdowns preventing the final episodes from being finished. We had been promised that the final seven episodes of the series would be coming our way this Fall, and indeed we’ve been provided with an October return date today.

“Supernatural” will return to The CW on Thursday, October 8.

Deadline notes, “The long journey of Sam and Dean Winchester is slated to end with a November 19 series finale, preceded by a one-hour special titled Supernatural: The Long Way Home at 8 p.m.”

We’ve also learned that the one and only season of DC Universe’s short-lived “Swamp Thing” series will be making its way onto The CW beginning on Tuesday, October 6.
