A Dark Presence Haunts a Musician in ‘The Strings’ Trailer [Salem Horror Fest]

Some sinister is coming for a musician in The Strings, a new indie horror film set to World premiere at Salem Horror Fest on the first weekend in October.

In addition to the brand new poster art created by Drusilla Adeline of Sister Hyde Design, Bloody has been provided with the chilling first trailer that takes place in the dead of winter, where a musician travels to a remote cottage to work on new material but soon finds herself under attack from a mysterious dark presence.

The Strings marks Ryan Glover’s directorial debut and comes from genre-oriented production company Observer Effects Productions, Inc.

The film’s all-female cast is headed by up and coming musician Teagan Johnston (aka Little Coyote) marking her acting debut and who also wrote and performed the film’s original music live on set. Jenna Schaefer co-stars as Grace.

In the dead of winter, musician Catherine travels to her aunt’s remote cottage on the shores of Prince Edward Island to work on new material in solitude. Soon after visiting an abandoned farmhouse with local photographer Grace, strange and disturbing occurrences begin to manifest at the cottage, escalating each night and eroding Catherine’s sense of reality.

The film hails from the producer of The Blackcoat’s Daughter.
