Experience Disneyland’s ‘The Haunted Mansion’ and Its 999 Happy Haunts in PS4’s ‘Dreams’ VR Software! [Video]

Back in August, we shared an incredible series of videos in which popular Disney attractions were recreated digitally using PS4’s Dreams software.

The first batch included Disneylands’s Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, as well as VR ride-throughs of Space Mountain and one of our personal favorites, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. These mind-blowing videos also included the rides queues.

The Indiana Jones ride through came along with the video’s creator asking viewers what attraction they’d want to see next, which included the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean. However, as we previously noted, fans were being extremely vocal about bringing The Haunted Mansion to life.

The loudest voices in the room won out as it was announced that Haunted Mansion‘s 999 happy haunts would be getting digitally recreated in Dreams. Thankfully, the wait wasn’t too long.

One of the “builders” (@sorenlew) let us know that you can now hitch a ride on the infamous Haunted Mansion in Dreams, and it’s absolutely perfect. Blueprinted from Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in California, this version hosts the iconic Hatbox ghost!

For those with a PS4, you can actually experience the entire ride through in VR, while everyone else can check it right now on YouTube!

What ride would you like to see next?

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
