Veteran actor Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) is headed back to the horror genre once again in the indie film The Benefactor, Deadline reports.
In director David Carson‘s horror movie, McDowell will “play a once-prolific painter who takes up an artist residency after the death of his wife. However, he soon fears that the house may be haunted and that its ghosts are driving him to madness.”
Mark and Anna Casadei wrote the script.
