Netflix Reveals New CG-Animated Film ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness’

Netflix surprised everyone today with news that in addition to the upcoming live-action Resident Evil series that’s currently in development, we’re also getting a CG film featuring Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. Revealed via Netflix Portugal (and it seems accidentally, as the tweet has since been deleted), Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is scheduled to be released in 2021.

No further information was released regarding the film, including just who will be handling the voice-acting duties for Claire and Leon. One would hope that Capcom would employ Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello, but we’ll have to see.
