Ridley Scott‘s ongoing HBO Max series “Raised by Wolves” is constantly tapping into his horror roots and this week’s episode is no exception.
In tomorrow night’s episode, “Mass”, director Alex Gabassi calls back to one of the scariest sequences in horror that comes straight out of Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper’s terrifying Poltergeist.
What you’ll see below is a scene in which Marcus (Travis Fimmel) is trying to remember what his face looked like before his surgery and ends up going full Poltergeist, recalling the infamous moment when Martin Casella’s character hallucinates peeling his face off in the mirror (fun fact: the hands peeling off his face belong to none other than Steven Spielberg himself).
The episode airs this coming Thursday, September 24, which means you have a little over 24 hours to catch up!
