‘Get Out’ Actress Allison Williams Will Star in James Wan-Produced Tech-Horror Film ‘M3GAN’

Allison Williams (Get Out, The Perfection) has signed on to both star in and executive produce Blumhouse horror movie M3GAN, we’ve learned today courtesy of Deadline.

“In the film, Williams plays Gemma, a brilliant roboticist at a toy company. She uses artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to be a kid’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece, Gemma enlists the help of the M3GAN prototype – a decision that has unimaginable consequences.”

Gerard Johnstone (Housebound) is on board to direct M3GAN.

James Wan came up with the story, and Akela Cooper (Malignant) wrote the script.

Wan’s Atomic Monster is also producing the film for Universal.
