“Post Mortem with Mick Garris” Will Return for a Fifth Season During Halloween Week!

The hit podcast Post Mortem with Mick Garris is returning for a fifth season just in time for Halloween, we’ve learned this morning, with 30 brand new episodes on the way!

“Having just won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grimmfest Film Festival, and also the Master of Horror Award from the Overlook Film Festival, Garris knows a thing or two about making scary movies. So, it comes as no surprise that the master of horror’s hit podcast, Post Mortem with Mick Garris, is returning for a fifth season with a whopping 30 episodes, plus several Ask Me Anything editions,” the official press release explains.

“The show, which has been previously nominated for multiple Rango awards, features intimate discussions between Mick and his thrill-inducing friends as they take a deep dive into the world of making film and TV. The new season of Post Mortem with Mick Garris premieres next Wednesday, October 28th with none other than Joe Hill! Hill joins the growing list of iconic filmmakers that have appeared on Post Mortem with Mick Garris which include Stephen King, John Carpenter, Neil Gaiman, Guillermo del Toro, John Landis, Issa Lopez, Rob Zombie, Eli Roth, Karyn Kusama, Joe Dante, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Ari Aster and so many more.”

For more than three decades, Mick Garris, the award-winning filmmaker, podcaster and writer has been behind countless memorable projects for both the big and small screens including Hocus Pocus, The Stand, Sleepwalkers, The Fly II, *batteries not included, Riding the Bullet, Psycho IV, Critters 2, Nightmare Cinema, Tales from the Crypt, Amazing Stories, Freddy’s Nightmares, Masters of Horror and so many more.

“I’m so happy to be back with new interviews with amazing people. Other Season 5 guests will include Mike Flanagan, making his third appearance on the show.
