‘Metro: 2033 Redux’ Now Available For Free (For 24 Hours) on The Epic Games Store

As was rumoured yesterday when Alien: Isolation was available, Epic Games has selected 4A Games’ Metro: 2033 Redux as the next free game available as part of their free-game-a-day Christmas giveaway. You now have until 10:59am ET Wednesday to snag this 2010 entry in the Metro series, and add it to your Epic Games Store library.

While it obviously can’t compare graphically to 2019’s Metro Exodus, Metro: 2033 Redux still holds up pretty well for shooter released in 2010. Plus, there’s still plenty of survival horror elements to get you going as you slog through post-nuclear Russia.

You can also grab Metro: 2033 Redux (though not for free) on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Steam, as well as on the Nintendo Switch.
