Last week, it was reported that Motion Twin would be giving fans a little something next year for their hit roguelike, Dead Cells. Motion Twin have now pulled back the curtain a little on the DLC, entitled “Fatal Falls”, which is expected to drop Q1 2021 for $4.99.
Not only that, Motion Twin also announced that Dead Cells has cracked a lofty milestone of 3.5 million copies sold across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Not bad.
Anyway, onto “Fatal Falls”, which will introduce two entirely new biomes, The Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, parallels to the ‘Stilt Village’, ‘Clock Tower’ and ‘Time Keeper’ areas and their alternate paths, as well as a new boss. The update is also dropping a cache of new weapons available to players, the details of which will be revealed in the near future.
