Rachel McAdams Joins the Cast of Sam Raimi’s ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

She worked with Wes Craven on Red Eye and next up Rachel McAdams will be directed by Sam Raimi in the upcoming MCU sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Deadline reports that McAdams will reprise the role of Dr. Christine Palmer. The character, which McAdams played in Doctor Strange, is the former girlfriend of Stephen Strange.

Raimi’s return to the world of Marvel will now release on March 25, 2022.

Benedict Cumberbatch is back as Doctor Strange in the sequel, with Benedict WongChiwetel Ejiofor and Elizabeth Olsen also expected to reprise their MCU roles.

Jade Bartlett wrote the script, also being worked on by Michael Waldron.
