Ever since Techland announced a delay back in January for the release of Dying Light 2, we’ve been as curious as you are with regards to the game’s status. There have been hints along the way, and while the latest one isn’t a definitive date (nor is it official), it certainly makes the case for the game coming soon.
Posted to the official Dying Light 2 Reddit was a screencap of the official Discord server for the upcoming game, which read: “We’ve been, er, dying to update you all on how development has been going. We’ll have fresh updates about Dying Light 2 coming in the new year!”
Again, nothing official, but it at least confirms that we’ll be seeing the follow-up to the 2015 hit (which is currently enjoying a 66% discount during Steam’s Winter Sale) in the new year.
Dying Light 2 is currently being released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series.
