While we wait for The Conjuring 3, which is currently set for release in June in both theaters and on HBO Max, we’ve learned today that the previous two films are coming to Netflix.
Directed by horror master James Wan, The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016) will bring supernatural terror to the streaming service on February 21, 2021.
At this time, none of the other films in The Conjuring Universe – Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation, Annabelle Comes Home, The Nun – are available or coming to Netflix.
Outside of that universe but still on the horror front, Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island hits Netflix on February 1st, with brand new original Red Dot arriving on February 11th.
“Two Sentence Horror Stories: Season 2” comes to Netflix on February 24th.
As for the horror content *leaving* Netflix in February, that list includes Don’t Knock Twice on February 7th with “Bates Motel: Seasons 1-5” leaving on February 19th.
