Lovecraftian Horror Game ‘The Shore’ Arrives Next Month; New Trailer Released

You won’t be waiting much longer for Ares Dragonis’ The Shore, as the one-man development team has set the date of February 19th for the game’s release. And, if you’re a sucker for the visuals (and why wouldn’t you be?), we also have a new trailer for the game.

If you still can’t wait for the game, the demo is still available on itch.io, though it’s safe to say that the game has had more than a few months of additional development since that demo’s release. You can also now wishlist the game on Steam.

Presented with a Lovecraftian style and mythology, The Shore centres on the mystery of the unknown on a forbidden island. You play as Andrew, a father who after being run ashore on said island, is now searching for his lost daughter. All the while, you’ll be encountering “the most nightmarish Lovecraftian entities”, and must battle to maintain your sanity through it all.
