What happens when three of the loudest and angriest musicians collide? Let’s find out, shall we?
There’s a brand new collaboration running completely under the radar that’s a match made in heaven.
It’s been five long years since Los Angeles-based Youth Code (Sara Taylor and Ryan George) has released an album. 2016’s Commitment to Complications perfectly smashed old school Ministry, Skinny Puppy and KMFDM into a blender and injected it with a megaton of rage.
They’re making their return with a new album, a collaboration with Portland-based musician, singer & producer King Yosef, known for his brutal and punishing production that’s given life to many artists from Zheani to VTB, Alice Glass, and many others.
While the album title has yet to be officially revealed, it’ll drop on March 5, 2021. Today marks the quiet release of the crazy first single, “Burner”, which doubles down on all the loud and angry you can handle.
