GSC Game World have seemingly made more noise over the past few months in regards to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 than any other time in its development. That’s fine with long-suffering fans, as we’re finally seeing what they’ve been up to.
The latest short trailer takes a look at the gameplay, as well as introduces players to Skif, the new protagonist for the title. The short scene takes place in the ruined school on the outskirts of the town of Pripyat. Skif encounters an emission – a powerful release of the anomalous energy from the centre of the Zone – then suddenly, the trailer snaps to black.
Like the previous trailer, it’s not much, but it does get you in the mood to venture into the Zone again. Whenever that might be.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is currently in development for the Xbox Series and PC.
