Sad news to report that crosses multiple forms of media today. Actress Jeanette Maus, who not only starred in Norbert Caoili and Rob Portmann’s Frayed, but also voiced several of the characters in the upcoming Resident Evil Village, has tragically passed away at the age of 39. Maus died this past Sunday from colon cancer after being diagnosed last year with the disease.
Maus’s death was confirmed on Facebook by her fiancé, Dusty Warren.
“It is with a shattered-yet grateful-heart that I inform you that Jeanette Maus passed away late last night due to complications of cancer,” Warren continued. “I’m really sad, but I’m super proud of her. She fought so hard, with tremendous grace and optimism, inspiring myself and I’m sure many of you.”
A GoFundMe page had been set up for Maus to aid her with medical bills, and will now be used to help her family at this difficult time.
Capcom took to Twitter to express their condolences for Maus, who provided the voice for one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters in the upcoming Resident Evil Village.
