Old-school PC gamers might remember the Disciples series, the dark fantasy RPG that last had an entry back in 2010. Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Frima Studio have announced a return of the series in Disciples: Liberation, which will launch in Q4 2021 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
Disciples: Liberation will also be having a closed PC alpha test (which you can apply for on the official website) that will run from March 3 to April 3, allowing 200 players to get a hands-on experience with the title.
As in previous games, players will return to the world of Nevendaar, which is home to four races: the Empire (humans), the Mountain Clans (dwarves), the Legions of the Damned (demons), and the Undead Hordes (undead). Liberation will feature an 80-Plus hour single-player campaign spread over three acts, with more than 270 quests. Players can also recruit from over 50 unit types best suited to their play style.
