The 2021 SXSW Film Festival Will ‘Broadcast’ Midnighter Horror Films Virtually! [Images]

Scary, funny, sexy, controversial – the 2021 SXSW Film Festival has announced eight provocative after-dark features for night owls and the terminally curious.

Below are this year’s Midnighter titles that come with great news for those of you who can’t normally attend – the 28th edition of the fest will all take place online from March 16-20!

Highlights of the virtual festival include a new movie from Jacob Gentry, one of the directors of The Signal, and Mickey Keating, the filmmaker behind several indies from Pod, Darling, Carnage Park, to the slasher Psychopaths.

Here’s a full breakdown, including genre films outside of the Midnight section, as well as series premieres and pilots.


MIDNIGHTERS

Broadcast Signal Intrusion
