‘Godzilla vs. Kong’: Another Awesome Poster Plus Adam Wingard Promises “Gory Moments” & Definitive Winner

We’re now less than one month away from the release of Adam Wingard‘s epic fight film Godzilla vs. Kong, which continues to get new posters and TV spots that suggest Wingard knocked this one out of the park. Wouldn’t ya know it, we’ve got another new international poster and TV spot for ya today, along with some exciting comments from Wingard.

Speaking with IGN, for starters, Wingard promises a definitive winner in this battle.

Wingard explains to the site, “I just wanted this to feel like the real matchup. I wanted you to walk away from this. I wanted there to be no more arguments on the playground. This is the decider. You don’t have to debate it anymore. You watch this film. That’s Godzilla, that’s King Kong. They’re beating the shit out of each other, and one wins, and that’s it.”

Wingard also promises “some gory moments” from Godzilla vs. Kong, which is the very first PG-13 movie he’s ever made. Check out the new spot and new poster art down below!

In Godzilla vs. Kong, coming to theaters and HBO Max on March 31:

“Legends collide as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”

Godzilla vs. Kong is the fourth film in the MonsterVerse, which kicked off with Godzilla in 2014 and continued with Kong: Skull Island in 2017 and Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 2019.
