Inanimate objects becoming killing machines is nothing new within the horror genre, but we can be pretty certain that Slaxx represents the first time a pair of jeans has been behind the bloodshed. From the producers of Turbo Kid, director Elza Kaphert‘s horror-comedy is now on Shudder, and they’ve unleashed an exclusive clip in which a pair of jeans kill an influencer.
In Slaxx:
“A possessed pair of jeans is brought to life to punish the unscrupulous practices of a trendy clothing company. Shipped to the company’s flagship store, Slaxx proceeds to wreak carnage on staff locked in overnight to set up the new collection.”
Romane Denis, Brett Donahue, Sehar Bhojani, Kenny Wong, Tianna Nori, and Hanneke Talbot star. Kaphert co-wrote the film alongside Patricia Gomez.
