“American Horror Stories” Coming This Summer With “American Horror Story” Season 10 Arriving for Halloween

The “American Horror Story” universe is expanding not only with the tenth season of the main series but also brand new spinoff “American Horror Stories,” the former airing on FX and the latter an exclusive to the FX on Hulu portal. This week, FX Chairman John Landgraf teases when we can expect the new season and the new series, both arriving later this year.

“American Horror Stories” will come to FX on Hulu in July, Deadline reports this afternoon, while the tenth season of “American Horror Story” will premiere on FX this Fall.

“The 10 episode [tenth] season will conclude on Halloween,” Deadline adds.

The Ryan Murphy-created spinoff series will feature “one-hour contained episodes,” while the tenth season of the flagship series is titled “American Horror Story: Double Feature.”

Murphy explains the spinoff, “We are doing 16 one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore. Many will feature AHS stars you know and love.”

The cast for Season 10 will include “AHS” regulars Evan PetersKathy BatesBillie Lourd, Finn WittrockLily RabeLeslie GrossmanAdina Porter and Angelica Ross.

Also in the mix this year? As previously announced, Macaulay Culkin is joining the “AHS” family in Season 10, with actress/model Kaia Gerber also coming on board this year.
