‘Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two’ Brings Rated “R” Violence to the DC Universe in July! [Trailer]

“Everyone’s invited to this party.”

From Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, two-part movie Batman: The Long Halloween begins with Part One (watch the trailer) on June 22, and Part Two won’t be far behind.

While Part One is rated “PG-13,” it’s interesting to note that Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two has been rated “R” for “Some violence and bloody images.” Yes. Please.

The trailer for Part Two has been unleashed today, and you’ll find it below! Part Two is coming July 27, 2021 to Digital and arriving August 10, 2021 on Blu-ray, we’ve learned today.

The voice cast includes…

  • Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/Batman
  • Naya Rivera as Selina Kyle/Catwoman
  • Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent
  • Billy Burke as James Gordon
  • Titus Welliver as Carmine Falcone
  • David Dastmalchian as Calendar Man & Penguin
  • Troy Baker as Joker
  • Amy Landecker as Barbara Gordon
  • Julie Nathanson as Gilda Dent
  • Jack Quaid as Alberto
  • Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy
  • Alastair Duncan as Alfred

“Inspired by the iconic mid-1990s DC story from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two continues as the Holiday Killer is still at large and, with Bruce Wayne under the spell of the venomous Poison Ivy, Batman is nowhere to be found. Liberated by an unlikely ally, Bruce quickly uncovers the real culprit: Poison Ivy’s employer Carmine Falcone. The Roman, his ranks decimated by Holiday and his business spinning out of control, has been forced to bring on less desirable partners – Gotham City’s rogues’ gallery.

“In the meantime, Harvey Dent is confronting battles on two fronts: attempting to end the mob war while also dealing with a strained marriage. And, after an attack that leaves Harvey hideously disfigured, the District Attorney unleashes the duality of his psyche that he’s strived his entire life to suppress. Now, as Two-Face, Dent decides to take the law into his own hands and deliver judgment to those who’ve wronged him, his family and all of Gotham.

“Ultimately, the Dark Knight must put together the tragic pieces that converged to create Two-Face, the Holiday Killer, Batman and Gotham City itself.”

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
