‘Fatal Frame’ Gets The ‘Silent Hill’ Treatment in a New Pachinko Machine

It’s sad but true. Despite series producer Keisuke Kikuchi and his repeated views that he’d like to revisit the series (notably for its 20th anniversary), Koei Tecmo has apparently decided to give Fatal Frame fans a gift in the form of a new pachislot machine.

Picked up by SiliconEra, the new machine now has an official trailer, which features upscaled visuals of several cinematic scenes taken from the game. Yamasa Next, which has also done Pachinko machines for other video game properties like Tekken and God Eater, will be handling its production.

Currently, no other games have been announced for the Fatal Frame‘s 20th anniversary, which happens this December.
