‘Old’: Thomasin McKenzie and Alex Wolff Experience a Nightmare Vacation in New Image from M. Night Shyamalan’s Thriller

Two brand new thrillers are on the way from M. Night Shyamalan and Universal, and the first one coming soon is titled Old. The film’s current theatrical date is July 23, 2021.

USA Today shares a brand new image today as part of their Summer Movie Preview, giving us a look at Thomasin McKenzie and Alex Wolff in Shyamalan’s latest nightmare.

Here’s the official synopsis, which speeds up the horrors of aging…

“This summer, Shyamalan unveils a chilling, mysterious new thriller about a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly … reducing their entire lives into a single day.”

The film stars an international cast including Gael García BernalVicky KriepsRufus SewellKen LeungNikki Amuka-BirdAbbey LeeAaron Pierre, Alex WolffEmbeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant and Thomasin McKenzie.

Old is a Blinding Edge Pictures production, directed and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, from his screenplay based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters. The film is also produced by Ashwin Rajan (Glass, AppleTV+’s Servant) and Marc Bienstock (Glass, Split). The film’s executive producer is Steven Schneider.
