“Camp Cretaceous” Writer Unearths Living Corpses With Korean Webtoon Adaptation ‘Deep’

Ko Dae-Jung‘s Korean webtoon Deep is coming to the small screen, with Deadline reporting that Zack Stentz (“Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous”) is behind the planned adaptation.

Stentz picked up the rights for his Electric Brain Entertainment.

“The sci-fi-thriller series centers on the families of humans who went missing and suddenly begin to reappear from the ocean as living corpses, unaged and unchanged in the years and even decades since their disappearances.”

Deadline notes, “The idea is for the popular Korean webtoon series to get both Korean and English-language drama versions with overlapping plot lines and cast.”

Stentz is producing alongside Geoffrey J. Clark, with Ko Dae-Jung exec producing.
