Launched today, the OREO brand is attempting to make contact with extraterrestrials via their new “OREO Offering” campaign, and they’re going to need your help in order to do so.
“Bring All Lifeforms Together” is the mission statement for the wonderfully bizarre new campaign, wherein you can get your hands on a limited edition pack of “OREO Offering” cookies that allows you to take part in the mission. As the company explains this morning, “The ETs have gotten a taste for OREO cookies and will undoubtedly come back for more.”
“Place an OREO cookie on the center of this pack and put it within clear view of the sky as an offering to our new friends,” the instructions on the limited edition packages read.
All you have to do is pay $3 for shipping & handling, and the offer begins this morning and ends June 10th; or “when all 3,000 Rewards are claimed, whichever occurs first.”
