‘The Wind’ Filmmaker Emma Tammi Set to Direct Selena Gomez in Horror Movie ‘Dollhouse’

Selena Gomez is set to produce and likely star in the psychological horror movie Dollhouse, and Deadline reports today that Emma Tammi (The Wind) has signed on to direct.

“Emma is one of the brightest up-and-coming directors in the genre,” STXfilms Motion Picture Group’s Adam Fogelson said in a statement to Deadline. “She has an incredible sense of story, pacing, and timing that is equally matched by her eye for unforgettable visuals. We love her take on this material and we’re thrilled to be developing it with her.”

Michael Paisley wrote Dollhouse, “set in the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene.”

Deadline notes that the film has been compared to Black Swan.

Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen are producing for 21 Laps.
