[Trailer] Battle Hell And Earn Gold in Co-Op Shooter ‘Perish’

Developer ITEM42 looks to follow in the footsteps of recent co-op shooters like Hunt: Showdown and GTFO with their own offering of mayhem with Perish. Currently in development for PC via Steam, Perish takes its love of gold to the next level as you battle the denizens of Purgatory.

Yes, gold. You crave it, and so do the revenant creatures you’re slaying. You and up to three others must battle your way out of Purgatory, all in order to sell their gold-stained corpses to withered priests in exchange for increasingly powerful weapons. This is all along the way for you to get to Elysium, a place reserved for mortals related to the gods and heroes. You’ll be battling across dilapidated temples, volcanic foundries, and ancient shipwrecks to get there.

It won’t be easy, as you risk succumbing to these same creatures you hunt, and lose all of your precious wealth. Do so, and you’ll have to start over with your truly hellish task.

Perish will arm you with more than 10 weapons consisting of javelins, swords, bows, and guns. Each weapon will have its own unique and upgradeable offensive capabilities. ITEM42 promises free updates with post-launch support, offering even more enemies and weapons for players.

No release date as of yet, so the Announcement Trailer will have to tide you over for the time being.
