We mentioned Italian Games Factory’s unique take on sci-fi horror with their upcoming space shooter title Haunted Space back in March, and now the dev is back with a new gameplay trailer, courtesy of IGN.
The trailer harkens back to the days of Wing Commander: Privateer with its dogfighting and from-the-cockpit view, but also touches briefly on the ship building and customization. And of course, the “horrors of the void” you’ll be facing in the blackness of space. Again, it’s not quite what you’d expect in a spaceship shooter, which makes it all the more interesting as to how they’re going to pull it off.
Haunted Space is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
