‘Elvira’s Haunted Hills’ Brings the Mistress of the Dark to Scream Factory Blu-ray in September

Over ten years after Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Elvira returned to the screen in 2001’s follow-up feature film Elvira’s Haunted Hills, which is headed to Scream Factory Blu-ray!

Announced today, the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray releases on September 28.

Here’s the full rundown from Scream Factory…

“In ELVIRA’S HAUNTED HILLS, Elvira must use her enormous…wits to escape the clutches of the secretive Lord Vladimere Hellsubus (Richard O’Brien of Rocky Horror fame). With its torch-lit castle walls, lightning flashes, and creepy locals, ELVIRA’S HAUNTED HILLS is an astute parody of the Hammer Films from the 1960s. Sparing no expense when it comes to authenticity, this movie was even filmed in Dracula’s old haunt, Transylvania!

“For the first time ever, this Blu-ray set is available with an all-new HD film transfer, a newly-designed Elvira-approved cover from artist Joel Robinson, a reversible wrap featuring the original theatrical artwork and a limited-edition rigid slipcase.

“Even more exciting: there will be a limited number of 18” x 24” rolled posters available for purchase, autographed by the Mistress of the Dark herself exclusively only at our site.”

Scream Factory promises many new special features, which will be announced soon.
