[Watch] Slick New Cinematic Trailer for Soulslike Metroidvania ‘GRIME’ Released

In prepping for its release next week, publisher Akupara Games and developer Clover Bite have dropped a cinematic trailer for GRIME, which was produced by PLAYSENSE. The trailer definitely exudes the dark and dangerous mood that GRIME is purported to embody.

In a press release, PLAYSENSE creative lead Alex Zhdanovich stated that working with Clover Bite and Akupara was “a pure pleasure and a great experience” for the agency. “We went through several hundred games on various platforms before picking GRIME as it’s a special project sporting a unique setting and a huge potential. By creating this trailer, we meant to help develop the video game industry and support young indie-developers at the beginning of their journey.”

GRIME is due out on Google Stadia and PC via SteamGOG, and the Epic Games Store on August 2.
