Nicolas Cage Shaves His Head for Upcoming Western ‘Butcher’s Crossing’ [Image]

With recent roles in Willy’s Wonderland, Pig, and Prisoners of the Ghostland under his belt, Nicolas Cage is on a roll here in 2021, and he’s not slowing down any time soon.

Up next from Cage is a “frontier epic” titled Butcher’s Crossing, an adaptation of the same-titled 1960 novel written by John Williams. Saban Films has acquired the project.

Check out your first look at a bald Cage in the movie above, via Deadline.

Butcher’s Crossing is set in the 1870s, and finds Cage’s character taking on a young Harvard dropout, who is seeking his destiny in the Colorado wilderness. Together, they embark on a harrowing journey risking life and sanity.”

Gabe Polsky wrote the adaptation and will also direct the film.
