Sure, you can make your game inspired by classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. But what if you threw in some Soulslike elements? That’s what the team behind the recently-announced indie title Wronged Us is hoping to find out.
There’s not much more info on Wronged Us at the moment, other than an official site with the promise of “updating soon” and a 20-second teaser trailer. However, the teaser looks damn good, thanks to Unreal Engine 5.
The ambitiousness of mashing up three beloved titles also does seem a bit ambitious for an indie studio (if not outright name-dropping to get attention). But then again, Cold Symmetry did give us a pretty sweet Soulslike in Mortal Shell for their first game, so you never know.
The team is aiming for a 2022 release.
