Both Seasons of Showtime’s “Masters of Horror” Now Streaming in 1080p on Screambox; Start a Free Trial!

Featuring horror movies from John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper, Dario Argento, Joe Dante, Takashi Miike, Stuart Gordon and more, Showtime’s horror anthology “Masters of Horror” was a show we may have taken for granted at the time but should have a much greater appreciation for today. Several of the top masters who created new terror tales for the Mick Garris-created series are sadly no longer with us, so it’s bittersweet to remember a time when Hooper, Gordon, Larry Cohen and more were brought together for one epic series of new nightmares.

There were 26 episodes in total of “Masters of Horror” across two seasons, and we’re excited to let you know that all 26 episodes are now streaming in 1080p over on Screambox!

And yes, that includes Takashi Miike‘s disturbing film Imprint, which was deemed so upsetting and boundary-pushing that Showtime never actually even aired the episode on TV!

Bloody Disgusting, if you haven’t heard, has taken the reigns on the newly-relaunched Screambox, a subscription-based streaming platform loaded with movies that also hosts our live channel, Bloody Disgusting TV. We’ll be curating and presenting all kinds of fresh horrors in the months and years to come, and free 30-day trials are available for new subscribers.

Subscriptions include unlimited movies and shows, with no ads: Month to month pricing is $4.99, while you can get discounted rates at 3 months ($11.99) or one year ($39.99). Sign up here and become a premium subscriber!

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
