‘The Exorcism of God’: Botched Exorcism Set for March by Saban Films

The Exorcism of God, a horror drama from Alejandro Hidalgo (The House at the End of Time), has just been set for release in limited theaters and on VOD platforms March 11, 2022, via Saban Films, Bloody Disgusting learned. It will open against RLJE Films’ Offseason.

The possessed film had its premiere at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. Meagan Navarro wasn’t a fan, writing that it “muddles its possession subversion.”

“The feature, set in an isolated Mexican town, follows Father Peter Williams (Will Beinbrink), an American exorcist who becomes possessed by the Devil, subsequently committing a terrible sacrilege. 18 years later, the consequences of his sin come back to haunt him, unleashing a battle within.”

María Gabriela de Faría (Deadly Class) and Joseph Marcell (“The Sandman”) co-star.

Watch for a trailer soon.
