A big budget Thai/Chinese co-production, upcoming monster movie The Lake has grabbed hold of our attention pretty fiercely this morning, the official trailer unleashing a brand new original monster designed by artist Jordu Schell (Cloverfield, The Thing, Starship Troopers, The Mist, Feast, Avatar, Men in Black, Planet of the Apes, The Cabin in the Woods, Predators).
The monster in The Lake was brought to life using practical life-sized animatronics alongside CGI, and the glimpses we get of the beast in the official trailer have got us very excited.
The film releases theatrically in Thailand on August 18, 2022.
